Band’s really need to stop covering “Hurt.” (There is a eclectic list of nin songs to cover!) This is rather offensive to me, and it’s not because my soul has been branded by Trent Reznor with [NIИ]. It’s because aside from my emotional attachment to the original Nine Inch Nails track closing The Downward Spiral, it is the song that Johnny Cash chose to close his life with by covering ‘Hurt’, he made the song his, his swan song, his epitaph, his elegy. Anything else now seems meaningless.

Really want to see this movie, and it’s not only because Trent Reznor has scored the film but because it’s a David Fincher film. With a Fincher/Reznor Collaboration how can I not see this. The two men responsible for creating my favorite album ever (The Fragile) and my favorite movie ever (Fight Club,) working together again after making The Social Network… Which was brilliant. I am in complete fan boy status, I must admit. Jeez I’m babbling but I’m just so stoked for this. herp derp
